MYCOMM Inc. announced today that it has partnered with the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) in MYCOMM’s online community for lawyers and law students, MyLawPartners.com. The BADC, founded in 1871, is the third oldest voluntary bar association in the U.S. and enhances MYCOMM’s legal community significantly.
“We believe strong partnerships are absolutely critical in the success of our communities” said Stephen Traversi, CEO of MYCOMM Inc. “We are pleased that the Bar Association of the District of Columbia has recognized the value our service can provide to their members and their involvement will continue to propel MyLawPartners.com forward.”
MyLawPartners.com provides open communication between lawyers and law students, both on a peer-to-peer level, as well as a mentor-to-mentee level through its revolutionary MyIntern intern system.
“We are excited to offer this service as a benefit for our members” MaryEva Candon, Esq., Executive Vice President of the BADC said. “We are always looking for opportunities to increase our member’s ability to access and share knowledge. MyLawPartners.com provides an excellent platform to do so and we are especially interested in the law student dynamic and how that shapes the next generation of lawyers.”
“We have received a great deal of support and enthusiasm for this model by the legal community and our partnership with the BADC validates our belief that we have created something truly unique” Mr. Traversi continued. “We are anxious to continue this momentum with the addition of law schools and bar associations across the U.S.”
